What is Collaging?
A ‘Collage’ is assembling a range of different materials that are and are not normally associated with one another, in a 2D or 3D form to create something new. This collaging activity is an open-ended activity for children as the outcome will be different for every child as they have different perspectives on life.
Collaging encourages children to express their ideas while using their imagination. This helps them create a visual understanding of their own personal perspective.
